HOW TO GET THERE FROM THE AIRPORT
To get there from the airport, you can either take a taxi or a bus. The last stop of the bus is at the Bilbao Intermodal Station. See more at the Travel Information page of the website.

To go to the residence, from the Bilbao Intermodal Station, you need to reach by underground the Sarriko station (just two stops away).
Once you leave the underground at the Sarriko station (there is only one exit, you can also use a lift), turn 180 degrees and go down the street about 300 meters: https://goo.gl/TuwhBd. The residence will be on your right.

HOW TO GO from Colegio Mayor M. de Unamuno to Bizkaia Aretoa (the conference venue)
BY BUS
The bus stop is in front of the residence: https://goo.gl/fjgN5t . To go from the residence to the conference, you need to cross the street. You can take any (red) bus that stops there:10, 13, 18 and 71. They run quite often on the weekdays (waiting time should be not longer than 10 minutes).
The first three, 10, 13 and 18, cross the river and you need to leave at the stop Zubiarte (immediately after crossing the river): https://goo.gl/7UaF5j
If you take bus 71, you need to leave at the stop Universidad (the second one on the embankment, next to a pedestrian bridge) and cross the bridge: https://goo.gl/321L8G
The ride should take about 10 minutes.

You can also take Bizkaibus (green buses, routes 2314 and 3411) from the same stop, then you need to leave at the stop Museo Plaza (also first after crossing the river): https://goo.gl/VSWpRQ
If you use Barik card on Bizkaibus, remember to validate it both when getting on and when getting off the bus (on the red Bilbobus - only when entering).

BY UNDERGROUND

WALKING
The other option is a 30 minutes walk. It is very straightforward: take the main street (up hill) and walk until you meet the river. Once you are there, you will see the high tower and next to it the Bizkaia Aretoa. See more at the following link:
